At Conscious, we believe in living intentionally. This looks like making simple sustainable daily decisions. We believe that these decisions require that we engage with the people and resources around us.
We live out sustainable decisions in how we purchase and consume. From food to clothes to personal care products and beyond, we consume daily. When we forget the origins and objectify the things and ingredients that we consume and forget their intrinsic value beyond ourselves, we slowly stop living in line with life rhythms bigger than ourselves. And we cheapen life.
There is no greater example of this cheapening of life than that found in human sex trafficking. For this reason, 10% of all proceeds made from Conscious Product purchases go towards ending sex trafficking in our community and abroad.
Right now, Conscious is just getting started, but we look forward to serving as an empowering employment opportunity for women coming out of trafficking to walk out their restoration process. Our vision is to partner through training and employment with local advocates and mentors as they journey with these women.
